New Year - New mistrust tracks

|
If you've read the bit about what I did over Christmas, you'll see that there are quite a few exciting things ahead. I'm now trying to sort out a couple of tracks for "Outline" to use with the female vocalist they're working with. They want something similar to the Beth Orton/Chemical Brothers folky electronica collaboration, or the Massive Attack dubby trip-hop stuff. I'm in Bolton, Outline are up the road from me, and the vocalist is in Liverpool. An interesting collaboration unfolds....

Some of the tracks I've dug out from the "unfinished" folder on my home PC actually sound "finished" or don't seem to need much work doing on them, so expect some up on myspace and the rest soon, although I think I'm going to try Tunetribe to sell downloads for 70p per track and physical CDs for a few quid for a 4-track EP, especially if I can do some gigs to promote them.

A lot of the "unfinished" tracks are no more than 1 or 2 minutes long - ideal for music cues for film, tv, etc., which is just as well, because they sound like film cues....I'm determined to do a CD made up entirely of such cues I've got hanging around. Not many film music libraries around, but hopefully I can find one who'll have me!

By the way, any electronica or chillout/downtempo labels reading this who are after new artists, or music libraries wanting new music, please let me know - sign me!!!!
